GENERAL SPORTSBOOK TERMS & CONDITIONS
These Sportsbook Betting Rules (the "Rules") govern the placement, acceptance, settlement and voiding of bets on sporting and other events offered through the WinLion Sportsbook. The Rules form an integral part of WinLion's Terms & Conditions and are to be read together with our Bonus Terms, AML/KYC Policy, Responsible Gambling Policy and Privacy Policy.
By placing a bet through the WinLion Sportsbook, you confirm that you have read these Rules carefully and agree to be bound by them in full. If any provision is unclear to you, please contact our Player Support team at [email protected] or via the on-site chat before placing a bet.
These Rules are issued in English and Russian. In the event of any discrepancy between the language versions, the English version prevails. Placing a bet without first reading these Rules does not release you from the obligation to comply with them.
Guiding Principles
- Transparency – every rule for accepting and settling a bet is set out explicitly; "operator discretion" is exercised only in the cases listed below.
- Sporting integrity – WinLion does not accept bets from individuals who hold insider information about an event or who can influence its course.
- Responsible gambling – every rule that follows is subject to the founding principle that a bet must be informed entertainment, not a source of financial harm.
- International alignment – these Rules draw on IBIA, ESSA and eCOGRA standards and on the established practice of Tier-1 sportsbook operators.

1.2. Scope
- These Rules apply to every bet placed through the WinLion Sportsbook on or after the effective date of the current version.
- Bets placed before the current version takes effect are governed by the version in force at the time of placement, except where the new version is plainly more favourable to you.
- Where sport-specific rules are set out (Section 9), they prevail over the general provisions of these Rules for that sport.
- If these Rules conflict with WinLion's general Terms & Conditions in matters relating to bets, these Rules prevail.
1.3. Age and Territorial Restrictions
- Only individuals aged 18 or older (or the age of civil majority in their country of residence, whichever is higher) may place bets in the Sportsbook.
- The Sportsbook is unavailable to residents of the 49 restricted jurisdictions listed in WinLion's general Terms & Conditions, Section 12.
- You are responsible for compliance with the law of your jurisdiction. The use of VPNs, Tor or any other means of bypassing geographical restrictions is prohibited and triggers the measures set out in Section 13 (Prohibited Conduct).
2. Account and Eligibility
2.1. Registration and Single Account
- You may hold only one WinLion account. The use of a single account by more than one person is not permitted.
- You may not open additional accounts, whether yourself or through relatives, affiliated parties, representatives or any third party acting on your behalf.
- Indicators of linked accounts include shared IP address, shared device, shared payment method, shared contact details and matching behavioural patterns. Linked accounts may be suspended, and any winnings derived from bonuses on those accounts may be voided.
- Registration data must be accurate, complete and current. You undertake to notify WinLion promptly of any change to your contact or payment details.
2.2. Verification (KYC)
- WinLion may request documents evidencing your identity, address, source of funds and ownership of payment instruments at any time after registration.
- Standard documents: a government-issued photo ID, proof of address (a document no older than 3 months), a selfie holding your ID for liveness checking, and proof of source of funds where cumulative deposits exceed CAD 5,000.
- Document review takes 24–72 hours from receipt of a complete file. Withdrawals may be paused until verification is complete.
- Where verification fails, the account is suspended and deposits are returned net of bona-fide play. Winnings are forfeited only where fraud has been proven.
2.3. Persons Prohibited from Placing Bets
- The following persons may not place bets in the Sportsbook:
- Anyone under the age of 18 (or under the age of civil majority in their country of residence).
- Employees of the Operator, Keron Systems LTD, affiliated companies, data and feed providers, and the immediate family members of any of the above.
- Anyone professionally connected to an event – athletes, coaches, officials, sporting administrators, club owners, team members, or league and federation representatives – on bets relating to events in which they participate directly or indirectly.
- Anyone with access to insider information about an event.
- Anyone subject to a court or regulatory order prohibiting gambling.
- Players who have activated self-exclusion, for the duration of the exclusion.
Bets placed in breach of this clause are voided and the stake returned; winnings derived from such bets are forfeited.
2.4. Player Responsibility
- You are fully responsible for the confidentiality of your credentials and for all activity on your account.
- Bets placed through your account are deemed to have been placed by you. A refund on the basis of "this was not me" is granted only where evidence of unauthorised access has been established and a technical investigation has been completed.
- You must check every bet before confirmation. Once confirmed, a bet cannot be cancelled by you (subject to Cash Out / Edit Bet – see Sections 7 and 11).
3. Placing Bets
3.1. Single-Wallet Principle
- Bets are settled in your account currency (CAD by default for Canadian players; EUR and USD also supported; for crypto wallets – BTC, ETH, USDT and other supported tokens).
- Currency conversion uses WinLion's internal exchange rate at the moment of the operation; the rate may include a spread within market norms.
- The stake is debited from your balance at the moment of confirmation; winnings are credited at the moment Settlement completes.
3.2. Minimum and Maximum Bets
Bet limits are set per event and per market and are shown on the betslip before confirmation:
| Bet type | Default minimum | Maximum |
|---|---|---|
| Single | CAD 0.50 / EUR 0.40 / USD 0.40 | Up to CAD 25,000 per slip (event-dependent) |
| Combo / Parlay | CAD 0.50 | Up to CAD 50,000 in cumulative payout |
| System | CAD 1.00 | Up to CAD 25,000 per slip |
| Live (In-play) | CAD 0.50 | Up to CAD 10,000 per slip (market and phase-dependent) |
| Outrights / Specials | CAD 0.50 | Up to CAD 5,000 per slip |
WinLion may set individual limits per player and per market, including reduced limits on low-liquidity markets, on the grounds set out in Section 13 (Prohibited Conduct) and based on account-activity analysis. A change in limits does not release you from the obligation to follow these Rules.
3.3. Confirmation and Odds Lock
- When a bet is placed, the odds are locked at the moment the betslip is confirmed by the system. Until confirmation the odds may move – the system will display the new value and require re-confirmation.
- "Accept Any Odds Changes" – when this option is enabled in your profile, the system accepts the bet at the updated odds without re-confirmation, including when the odds drop.
- "Accept Higher Odds Only" – the bet is accepted without re-confirmation only when the odds rise; a drop requires manual re-confirmation.
- Once a betslip is confirmed, the odds are not revisited, save for palpable errors (Section 6) and market voids (Section 8).
3.4. Electronic Record and Evidential Value
- The sole official evidence of placement, content and status of a bet is the electronic record in the WinLion Sportsbook system. Screenshots, screen captures and third-party records are not admissible as evidence in dispute resolution.
- WinLion retains the bet record for at least 5 years from the date of placement, in accordance with applicable AML requirements.
- You may obtain a statement of your bets through the "My History" section of your account or by written request to Player Support.
4. Bet Types
4.1. Single
A bet on one selection in one event. Payout = Stake × Odds. Stake may be returned on a Push outcome (see the relevant sport in Section 9).
4.2. Combo / Parlay / Accumulator
- A combined bet on two or more independent selections. Payout = Stake × product of all selected odds. A loss on any one selection loses the entire combo.
- The default maximum number of selections in a single combo is 30. Lower limits may apply on certain markets.
- You may not combine inter-dependent selections from the same event in one combo (e.g., "Home win" plus "Total over 2.5" on the same match) unless the market is explicitly flagged as combinable (Bet Builder).
- On a Push, the odds for that selection are treated as 1.00 and the combo is recalculated based on the remaining selections.
- Where a selection is voided, treatment is the same as a Push: the selection is removed from the calculation and the combo is recalculated.
4.3. System
A set of smaller combos generated from a chosen list of events. For example, a "3-of-5" system is every possible 3-event combo from 5 selections (10 combos in total). The stake is multiplied by the number of combinations; the payout is the sum across winning combos. At least one combo of the specified size must win for any payout.
4.4. Bet Builder
- Lets you combine multiple markets within the same event into a single bet with an automatically computed combined odds value.
- Mathematically incompatible combinations cannot be confirmed.
- A Bet Builder bet is settled only after the event ends in full. Cash Out may not be available on Bet Builder bets.
4.5. Outrights / Specials
- A bet on the winner of a tournament, championship or season. Settlement follows official conclusion of the tournament; the stake is held on the betslip until then.
- Where an event is cancelled or a participant withdraws, see Section 8.5.
4.6. Live (In-Play)
Bets placed while the event is in progress. Detailed rules – see Section 7.
4.7. Cash Out
An optional feature for settling a bet, in part or in full, before the event ends, at the value then offered. Detailed rules – Section 7.5.
5. Acceptance and Rejection of Bets
5.1. Moment the Bet is Concluded
- A bet is concluded when the betslip is successfully confirmed by the system and "Accepted" is shown to you.
- A bet that does not return "Accepted" within 30 seconds is treated as rejected; the stake is returned to your balance.
- Technical issues on your side (loss of internet connection, browser closure) are not grounds for the return of a confirmed bet.
5.2. Grounds for Rejection
The Sportsbook may reject a bet, in whole or in part, before confirmation, on any of the following grounds:
- The market, event or player limit has been exceeded.
- The odds have changed or the market has been suspended (e.g., on a goal or a major event).
- The bet was placed after the event began (for Pre-match markets).
- Insufficient balance.
- The bet has been flagged by the risk-control system under Section 13.
- The combo includes mathematically inconsistent selections (mutually exclusive or strictly dependent).
- The account is suspended, restricted or under self-exclusion.
5.3. Confirmation Delay
On Live bets and certain Pre-match markets, WinLion applies a confirmation delay (typically 3–8 seconds). During this window, the system checks that the odds are current, that the event is in the expected state, and that the player is not on a risk list. After the delay, the slip is either confirmed or rejected with stake returned; the intermediate state is not an accepted bet.
5.4. Technical Failure and Suspension
- In the event of technical failure, line errors or incorrect data feed, the Sportsbook may suspend acceptance and remove markets.
- Bets placed during a failure and confirmed at clearly erroneous odds, or on missing or already-completed events, are voided and the stake returned, regardless of any apparent winnings.
- If a technical failure causes a duplicate debit or a duplicated bet, the correction is applied automatically within 24 hours and you will be notified.
6. Odds and Line Errors
6.1. Nature of the Odds
Odds reflect the Sportsbook's estimate of the probability of an outcome and are not a guarantee of the result. Odds are derived from official feeds, market activity and WinLion's internal risk model. Differences between WinLion's odds and those of other bookmakers are not grounds for re-settlement.
6.2. Palpable Error
WinLion may void a bet, or re-settle it at the corrected odds, on a palpable error. An error is palpable where any of the following applies:
- The odds deviate from the average of the five largest European bookmakers by more than 2× when the offered odds are below 5.00, or by more than 1.5× when the offered odds are 5.00 or higher.
- The odds for the parties or outcomes are reversed (e.g., the favourite is priced as the underdog).
- The odds are offered on a mathematically impossible outcome (e.g., "odd score 2:2").
- The odds are offered on an event that has already ended, or after the outcome was de facto determined.
- There is an evident technical error in the textual description of the market.
You will be notified of the palpable error and the action taken in your account and/or by email. Stakes are returned within 24 hours of the error being identified. Use of the palpable-error doctrine is logged in the event journal and is subject to retrospective Compliance review.
6.3. Line Movement
- The Sportsbook may change odds, open and close markets at any time before an event begins and during the Live phase.
- Bets that have already been accepted are settled at the locked odds and are not subject to revision (other than under Section 6.2).
- New information about line-ups, weather or participant status is not grounds for the return of a bet.
7. Settlement and Live Mode
7.1. Source of the Official Result
- Bets are settled by the official result published by the relevant governing body (league, federation, association).
- Where no governing body has been designated or where no result is published within 72 hours, WinLion uses data from primary providers (Sportradar, Betradar, Genius Sports, EveryMatrix Data).
- Information shown on the venue scoreboard, in commentary or on social media is not the official result.
7.2. Regular Time and Extra Periods
- Unless the rules of a specific sport (Section 9) provide otherwise, settlement is based on the regular-time result and excludes added time, overtime and penalty shootouts.
- Markets explicitly designated "including overtime" or "including penalties" are settled on the final result, taking all phases into account.
7.3. Settlement Timing
- Settlement is automatic upon completion of the event, normally within 5–60 minutes.
- Where a result is contested or its publication is delayed, settlement may be deferred for up to 72 hours; in exceptional cases (disputes, appeals, investigations), up to 30 days.
- If, after 30 days, no official result has been determined, bets on the affected markets are voided and stakes returned.
7.4. Live (In-Play) Bets
- In Live mode, odds update in real time. The Sportsbook does not guarantee that the in-play data shown in the interface (score, time, statistics) matches the actual state of the event at every second.
- A bet is treated as accepted at the in-play moment captured by the Sportsbook server at the time of confirmation, not at the time you click.
- The Sportsbook applies a confirmation delay (see clause 5.3); on a significant event (goal, dismissal, penalty, medical timeout), the market is suspended and unconfirmed slips may be rejected.
- The video stream embedded on the WinLion website or app may lag the live broadcast by 5–60 seconds; relying solely on the on-site stream when placing a Live bet is at your risk.
7.5. Cash Out
- Cash Out is a voluntary feature; its availability depends on the sport, the market, liquidity and the phase of the event. WinLion does not guarantee Cash Out on any specific bet at any specific moment.
- The Cash Out value is shown on the betslip in real time and is locked when you confirm the request. If the market moves between your tap and confirmation, the Sportsbook will offer the updated value or reject the request.
- Partial Cash Out – fixing a payout on part of the stake while leaving the remainder in play. Conditions match those for a full Cash Out.
- Cash Out does not return bonus funds spent on the bet, save where the Bonus Terms expressly provide otherwise.
- Where an event is cancelled or voided after Cash Out has been applied, the Cash Out remains in force and is not recalculated.
8. Voids and Cancellations
8.1. Void Principle
A voided bet is settled at odds of 1.00. For a single bet, this means the stake is returned. For a combo, the voided selection is treated as 1.00 and the combo is recalculated.
8.2. Postponed Events
- If an event is postponed to the same calendar day (without a change of venue or composition), bets stand.
- If an event is postponed to a different calendar day, bets are voided, except where Section 9 expressly provides otherwise for the relevant sport.
- If an event is moved to a different venue (neutral or the opponent's venue), Pre-match bets are voided. Live bets stand until the market is suspended.
8.3. Abandoned and Unfinished Events
If an event is abandoned and not resumed within 48 hours, bets on markets whose outcome is determined before abandonment are settled on the result reached; bets on markets whose outcome is undetermined are voided.
Sport-specific rules (tennis, golf, fights, esports) are set out in Section 9.
8.4. Changes to Composition, Format or Duration
A change in match duration (e.g., 4×10 → 4×8 minutes in basketball, 90 → 80 minutes in football) voids Pre-match bets on totals and handicaps; bets on the 1×2 outcome stand.
A change in the number of rounds, games, sets or periods in individual sports without a material change in format leaves bets in force, except where Section 9 expressly provides otherwise.
On disqualification, replacement of a participant before the event begins, or material change in line-up, bets on the relevant participant's individual markets are voided.
8.5. Outrights and Non-Participation
On Outright bets (tournament winner) where a participant does not take part, bets on that participant are voided and the stake returned.
Where the Sportsbook offers a market "Will [participant] win the tournament – Yes/No", separate rules apply: on non-participation, Yes is voided; No is settled normally if expressly stated in the market terms.
8.6. Compliance Voids
A bet may be voided where the circumstances set out in Section 13 (Prohibited Conduct) are detected, including match-fixing concerns, insider information, arbitrage patterns, use of automated systems, or placement by a third party on the player's behalf. In such cases, the stake only is returned; potential winnings are not paid. Proven fraud triggers the measures set out in Section 13.4.
9. Sport-Specific Rules
The following sport-specific rules apply. Where a topic is not addressed below, the general provisions of these Rules (Sections 1–8 and 10–11) apply.
9.1. Football (Soccer)
Settlement Time
All markets settle on regular time (90 minutes plus referee added time), save where the market is expressly designated "including overtime / penalties".
Overtime and penalty shootouts are taken into account only on markets such as "Who progresses", "Cup/Super Cup winner including penalties", "Penalty shootout – yes/no".
Voids and Postponements
If a match is postponed by 36 hours or more from the announced kick-off, Pre-match bets are voided.
Abandoned matches not resumed within 48 hours: markets whose outcome is determined (e.g., "goal in the first half" if the first half is complete) settle; the rest are voided.
Goals and Own Goals
Own goals count towards the match score, but do not count towards "Goalscorer", "Anytime Goalscorer" or "First Goalscorer" markets.
If the player named on an Anytime Goalscorer bet does not take part, or comes on after the first goal in a First Goalscorer market, the bet is voided.
Goals disallowed by VAR or the referee do not count. Decisions made on appeal after the final whistle do not affect already-completed settlement.
Corners and Cards
Only corners actually taken count. Corners awarded but not taken (for example, when the final whistle blows) do not count.
Yellow cards = 1 point; red cards = 2; second yellow → red = 3 (for total-cards markets).
Cards shown after the final whistle, to coaching staff, or to substitutes do not count (unless the market rules expressly provide otherwise).
9.2. Basketball
Settlement Time
For NBA and NCAA, the match result includes overtime, save where the market is expressly designated "Regular Time".
For FIBA, EuroLeague, VTB and other European leagues, regular time excludes overtime, save where the market is expressly designated "including overtime".
Postponement and Shortening
If the match is shortened by less than 5 minutes from the regulation duration, bets stand.
If a match is abandoned and fewer than 43 minutes were played (for 4×12 matches) or fewer than 35 minutes (for 4×10 matches), live totals and handicaps are voided; otherwise they settle on the result reached.
9.3. Tennis
If a player retires or is disqualified after the start of a match, all bets on that match – including Live – are voided, save for markets whose outcome was already determined (e.g., "first-set winner" if the first set is complete).
A tie-break counts as a single game; in "total games" markets, it counts as 1 game unless the market rules expressly state otherwise.
A change of surface (clay ↔ hard ↔ grass) or venue before the start voids all Pre-match bets on that match.
9.4. Hockey
Settlement is based on regular time (60 minutes), except for markets expressly designated "including overtime / shootout".
A goal scored in overtime or in a shootout is added to the match total only on markets that expressly include overtime.
Abandoned matches not resumed within 48 hours: where 55 minutes or more were played (for 60-minute matches), bets settle on the result reached; otherwise they are voided.
9.5. Combat Sports (UFC, Boxing, MMA, Kickboxing)
Settlement is based on the official verdict announced in the ring or octagon.
Technical knockout (TKO), knockout (KO) and submission count as victories for the relevant fighter.
"No Contest" – bets on the winner are voided; bets on "will the fight take place" settle normally.
Replacement of a fighter before the start of the bout voids all bets on the bout.
A change in the number of rounds or in the weight category voids Pre-match bets on format / round-betting; bets on the winner stand.
9.6. Esports
Settlement is based on the official result published by the tournament organiser (Valve, Riot Games, BLAST, ESL, PGL, DreamHack and others).
Bets are accepted on CS:GO/CS2, Dota 2, League of Legends, Valorant, Overwatch 2, Rainbow Six Siege, StarCraft II, Call of Duty, Mobile Legends, Honor of Kings, FIFA / EA FC.
Where a team is disqualified, or cheating or organisational misconduct is found after the event, already-settled bets are not revisited; new bets on the team's subsequent matches may be suspended.
Replacement of one starting player by a stand-in within a 5-player team leaves bets in force. Replacement of three or more players voids Pre-match bets.
Map restart (re-host / pause-exploit fix): if a map is replayed from scratch by decision of the organiser, bets on that map are voided.
9.7. Horse and Dog Racing
Settlement is based on the official decision of the racecourse, published after the stewards' enquiry.
On a Non-Runner before the off, Tattersalls Rule 4 applies: a fixed deduction is applied to the odds of the remaining runners depending on the odds of the withdrawn participant.
On a race declared "No Race", all bets are voided.
A disqualification after the finish following an appeal or doping result settles the bet on the revised official result only where the change was announced before "Weighed-In".
9.8. Baseball
Pre-match bets: the match must last at least 9 innings (or 8.5 if the home team is leading); otherwise totals and handicaps are voided, while the 1×2 market settles on the official MLB result.
Listed Pitchers: "Winner" and "Total" markets are accepted by default with a Listed Pitchers requirement – replacement of a starting pitcher voids these bets. A bet expressly flagged "Action" / "No Listed Pitchers" stands.
9.9. American Football (NFL / NCAA)
Settlement includes overtime, save where the market is expressly designated "Regular Time" / "1H" / "2H".
If a match is declared "No Contest" (for example, not resumed within 24 hours), all bets are voided.
9.10. Golf
Outright winner settles on the official decision, including any play-off result.
Head-to-head and 3-Ball: every named participant must complete the round. If any participant fails to start the round or withdraws, the bet is voided.
If a tournament is shortened to 36 or 54 holes, bets stand and settle on the official winner.
If a tournament is cancelled before completion of 36 holes, bets are voided.
9.11. Motorsports (F1, MotoGP, NASCAR)
Settlement is based on the official final classification published by the regulator (FIA, FIM, NASCAR), inclusive of disqualifications announced before publication.
Winner bets: a driver must cross the finish line to be classified; otherwise, on "Will N win" the bet loses.
A shortened race (for example, 75% or more of the distance) where full points are awarded settles bets normally.
Postponement of a Grand Prix by more than 14 days, or its cancellation, voids bets on the race.
9.12. Snooker, Darts, Billiards
Where a player concedes, victory is awarded to the opponent and bets on the match winner stand. Bets on frame/leg/set scores with undetermined outcomes are voided.
A break of more than 30 minutes for technical reasons does not void bets.
9.13. Volleyball, Handball, Water Polo, Rugby
Settlement is based on the regular-time result, save where the market is expressly designated otherwise.
Where a match is abandoned and not resumed within 48 hours, bets on markets with a determined outcome stand; the rest are voided.
9.14. Specials, Politics, Entertainment
Bets on political events (elections, referenda) settle on the official result published by the electoral commission of the relevant jurisdiction.
Bets on entertainment events (the Oscars, Eurovision, reality shows) settle on the result announced by the organising body.
If an event is cancelled or its outcome cannot be determined, bets are voided.
WinLion may decline to accept a special bet on grounds of risk associated with confidential information; such refusals are documented.
10. Bonuses and Their Interaction with Bets
10.1. Bonus Funds vs Real Funds
Where your balance contains both real and bonus funds, bets are debited from real funds first, save as expressly provided in the Bonus Terms.
Winnings from bets placed using bonus funds are credited as bonus funds until wagering is complete.
10.2. Minimum Odds for Wagering
Unless the terms of a particular bonus state otherwise, only bets with minimum decimal odds of 1.50 count towards the wagering of welcome and reactivation bonuses.
Bets below the minimum odds count for 0% they do not reduce the wagering balance.
10.3. Practices Prohibited During Wagering
While a bonus with a wagering requirement is active, the following are prohibited:
- Hedging – placing opposing-outcome bets on the same event from the same or linked accounts.
- Bets on artificially low-risk events (margin-cancellation, arb-betting) using third-party aggregators.
- Bets that breach the minimum-odds requirement (see 10.2).
- Systemic / complex constructions whose evident purpose is to circumvent the wagering requirement.
Where a breach is detected, the bonus and any winnings derived from it are voided; the unwagered portion of real-money deposits is returned. Repeat breaches are classified as bonus abuse and trigger the measures in Section 13.
10.4. Free Bet
The Free Bet stake is not returned in the payout: payout = (Odds − 1) × Free Bet stake.
A Free Bet cannot be partial-staked or Cashed Out.
The validity period and eligible markets are set out in the terms of the relevant bonus.
11. Payouts and Withdrawals
11.1. Maximum Payout
The maximum payout per single betslip (stake plus winnings) is:
| Category | Cap per slip (CAD) | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| Football – top-5 leagues (EPL, La Liga, Bundesliga, Serie A, Ligue 1) and top tournaments | 100,000 | EUR/USD equivalent |
| Football – other leagues; totals/handicaps/corners | 50,000 | |
| Tennis – Grand Slam, ATP/WTA 1000 | 75,000 | |
| Tennis – other tournaments | 25,000 | |
| Basketball – NBA, EuroLeague | 75,000 | |
| Hockey – NHL, KHL | 50,000 | |
| MMA / Boxing / UFC | 100,000 | Top cards |
| Esports – top tournaments | 30,000 | Majors with prize pool ≥ USD 1m |
| Esports – other | 10,000 | |
| Outrights / Specials | 25,000 | |
| Other sports | 10,000 |
Where related betslips on the same event share an evident strategy, WinLion may apply a combined payout cap equivalent to the maximum payout for the principal market on that event.
11.2. Big Winner – Instalments
Aggregate winnings on a single event exceeding CAD 50,000 (or currency equivalent) are paid in equal monthly instalments over a period of up to 6 months.
Minimum monthly instalment: CAD 10,000; the precise schedule is agreed with the player and Compliance after verification.
Big Winner terms are disclosed before payout confirmation; retroactive application to already-confirmed payouts is not permitted.
11.3. Withdrawal Limits
Standard withdrawal limits for verified players:
- Daily: CAD 1,500
- Weekly: CAD 3,000
- Monthly: CAD 12,000
Where the ratio of current balance to cumulative deposits reaches 10:1 or higher, the monthly withdrawal limit is set at CAD 5,000 until the ratio normalises. This rule is intended to mitigate bonus-abuse risk and does not limit lawful payouts on verified Big Winner winnings.
11.4. Methods and Fees
Withdrawals are processed back through the deposit method, in line with AML source-of-funds rules. Where this is not possible, a Compliance-approved alternative within the same category may be used.
Standard processing times: e-wallet – up to 24 hours, bank transfer and cards – 1–3 business days, crypto – up to 2 hours after internal approval.
WinLion does not charge withdrawal fees. Payment-provider and network fees (e.g., crypto network gas) are borne by the player.
12. KYC, AML and Payout Confirmation
12.1. Conditions of Payout
Before a first withdrawal, and where cumulative deposits exceed CAD 2,000, WinLion runs the KYC process.
The withdrawal is paused until KYC is complete; funds remain on the balance and are not debited.
Where documents are inconsistent or identity cannot be confirmed, the account is suspended; deposits are returned net of bona-fide play, and winnings are forfeited only where fraud has been proven.
12.2. Source of Funds
For cumulative deposits exceeding CAD 5,000 in 30 days or CAD 10,000 in 12 months, WinLion may request documents evidencing source of funds: payslips, tax returns, sale agreements, investment-account statements. The request is made in writing; the response window is 14 days.
12.3. Linked Payment Instruments
All payment instruments (cards, e-wallets, crypto wallets) must be in your name. Use of third-party instruments is prohibited.
Where a third-party instrument is used, bets and payouts associated with it are subject to review; funds are returned to the lawful instrument holder following investigation.
13. Prohibited Conduct and Bad-Faith Behaviour
13.1. Prohibited Practices
WinLion does not accept and treats as prohibited the following conduct:
- Multi-accounting – use of multiple accounts by one person or by a linked group.
- Match-fixing – placing bets in reliance on knowledge of a pre-arranged outcome.
- Insider betting – placing bets by persons with access to non-public information about an event (see clause 2.3).
- Arbitrage betting and cross-bookmaker hedging – systematic capture of risk-free profit using third-party bookmakers.
- Bonus abuse – bad-faith use of bonuses, as defined in clause 10.3.
- Use of automated systems (bots), scripts and third-party software to place bets.
- VPN, proxies and other geographical-bypass mechanisms.
- Placement of bets by a third party on behalf of, or bypassing, the player whose documents were used at registration.
- Collusion between players to manipulate a market or to satisfy a wagering requirement.
13.2. Indicators of Bad-Faith Behaviour
Indicators that may trigger an investigation of bets and accounts include:
- Systematic betting on markets flagged as low-liquidity, immediately before line-close.
- Unnaturally successful runs on closing-line markets (closing-line value persistently above 5%).
- Bet-pattern overlap with other accounts (matching stakes, matching markets, synchronous activity).
- Anomalous deposit-and-withdrawal patterns over short windows (chip dumping).
- Correlation with insider events (line-up changes, injuries, suspensions ahead of public announcement).
13.3. Response Measures
On detecting a breach, WinLion applies proportionate measures in the following escalation order:
- Warning and reduction of account limits.
- Suspension of betting on selected markets / sports.
- Voiding of suspect bets with stake returned; forfeiture of bonus components and associated winnings.
- Full account block with verified deposits returned net of bona-fide play.
- Forfeiture of all winnings and associated bonuses – only where fraud is proven.
- Notification to regulators and industry databases (IBIA, ESSA, GamProtect) – for systemic breaches affecting sporting integrity.
13.4. Investigation and Evidence
All measures under clause 13.3 are taken on the basis of a written decision of Compliance / Sportsbook Risk.
An investigation is conducted within 30 working days of operations being paused; in exceptional cases (interactions with the regulator, bank or provider) the period may be extended to 90 days, with notice to the player.
You are entitled to provide explanations and supporting documents in defence of your position; they are taken into account in the final decision.
The final decision is communicated to you with the established facts and applied measures, and may be appealed under Section 14.
14. Disputes and Resolution
14.1. Internal Procedure
All complaints and disputes are first raised with WinLion Player Support: [email protected] or via the on-site chat. Initial response within 7 calendar days; final resolution within 30 calendar days.
A complaint must include: account ID (without password), betslip / transaction reference, description of the situation, and the desired outcome.
Until the internal procedure is complete, the parties refrain from taking the dispute to other forums.
14.2. External Procedures (ADR)
If the internal procedure does not produce agreement, you may approach independent mediators: Casino.guru, AskGamblers Complaints, ThePOGG – for pre-judicial resolution.
ADR decisions are advisory; WinLion implements them in good faith where the mediator's reasoning is sound.
14.3. Governing Law
These Rules and the operations arising from them are governed by the law of the Operator's licensing jurisdiction (Anjouan, Union of Comoros), to the extent it does not conflict with mandatory provisions of the law of your country of residence.
No class-action waiver applies: you retain the right to any collective remedy provided by applicable law.

The Sportsbook is open only to persons aged 18 or older. WinLion runs ongoing verification checks and blocks accounts opened by minors, with deposits returned to the lawful instrument holder.

Bet logs are retained for at least 5 years from the date of the last operation. Requests for access, correction or deletion are submitted to Player Support and are handled within statutory timeframes.
17. Amendments to the Rules
WinLion may amend these Rules – primarily to clarify settlement of new markets, to update the list of supported sports, and to respond to changes in regulatory practice.
Material amendments are published 14 calendar days before they take effect. Notice is sent to the email address on your account and is shown in your account on next sign-in.
Non-material amendments (typographical fixes, clarifications without change of meaning, addition of new sports without changes to the settlement principles) may be made without prior notice.
